Amolatar District Leaders Welcome Ambassador Doreen Amule Opio at the Center of Uganda

District Councilors from Amolatar District, headed by the LCV Chairperson, Hon. Morish Ogwal Omara, warmly welcomed Her Excellency Ambassador Doreen Amule Opio during her visit to the Center of Uganda located in Olyaka, Namasale Subcounty, Amolatar District.

The visit brought together district leaders, local residents, and members of the delegation in a celebration aimed at promoting unity, tourism, and cultural heritage within the region.

Promoting the Center of Uganda as a Tourism Landmark

Speaking during the event, district leaders emphasized the importance of the Center of Uganda as a key tourism and cultural site with great potential to attract both local and international visitors.

Hon. Morish Ogwal Omara appreciated Ambassador Doreen Amule Opio for visiting the area and recognizing the significance of the landmark to the people of Amolatar District and Uganda at large.

Residents of Olyaka and the wider Namasale Subcounty welcomed the delegation with excitement and gratitude. Community members expressed hope that the visit would increase awareness and development opportunities for the area.

The occasion also provided an opportunity for interaction between local leaders, the embassy delegation, and community members on matters concerning development, tourism, and community empowerment.
